Laon was the family name given for us, and the letter L is created to be tough and ready to take any challenges in the upcoming life, never give up easily, specially for my family .

坦白的說，我有自己也搞不懂的生活態度，但是我知道肚子餓了就要找食物的道理，哪怕只是一包快熟面，我也可以很開心的聽著莫札特，喝著我心愛的Nescafe，來解決我那快熟面。我想信每個人都有自己態度的哲學， 那是人生多麼美妙的一頁。只要生活不潦倒，那就可以接受了。生活態度永遠沒有富貴貧賤之分， 只看你給自己選擇了怎麼樣的一個態度。還記得，一些朋友告訴過我一個難以抹滅的“哲學”，這一切就像是打飛機一樣， 自己爽就好！哈，我找到自己的生活態度了， 你呢？

這是一個從來都沒有在我童年至學院時期的想法，完全沒有幻想過的自己踏上大學生的旅程。我應該還是小學最懶惰的代表，基本上可以說是一個神話， 中學更是被各式各樣的校園活動吸引著。但一次，忽然間告訴父母， 我可以上大學嗎？父母應該也被自己的舉動嚇了一跳吧（至少我是那麼認為，哈哈）而他們也在那一瞬間答應了。沒有太多考慮，我決定自己也來當個大學生好了。我大學的生活。。才剛剛掀開序目。

A Good Designer Advice

01: There’s no such thing as bad clients: only bad designers.
We love to blame our clients for poor work. When projects go sour, it’s always the clients — never us — who are at fault. Sure, there are bad clients. But designers treating them badly have usually turned them into bad clients. As designers, we end up with the clients we deserve.

02: The best way to learn how to become a better graphic designer is to become a client.
On the few occasions that I’ve been a paying commissioner of graphic design, I’ve learned more about being a designer than by anything else I’ve done. It’s only by commissioning graphic designers that we discover that most of us are not very good at articulating what we do and how we work. For many clients, designers seem to operate on the principle expressed by the architect hero of Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead: “I don’t intend to build in order to have clients. I intend to have clients in order to build.” As part of their training, all designers should be obliged to spend a sum of their own money on graphic design.

03: If we want to educate our clients about design, we must first educate ourselves about our clients.
When I hear designers say that “we must educate our clients”, I want to break out in hives. Instead of educating our clients, we must educate ourselves in the ways of our clients. Then — and only then — will clients take us seriously.

04: If we want to make money as a graphic designer, we must concentrate on the work — not the money.
Whenever I’ve taken on design projects “just for the money,” disaster has invariably ensued. When we put money first and work second, we end up with bad work and an even worse balance sheet. This is not to say that designers shouldn’t be properly paid for their work, or that designers shouldn't be financially savvy (clients usually are). But the designer’s primary motive has to be the quality of the design and not the size of the fee. When the focus is on the money, the work is usually poor.

05: For designers, verbal skills are as important as visual skills.
Since graphic design should be self-explanatory, designers might be forgiven for thinking that the need to provide a verbal rationale for their work is unimportant. Surely the work should succeed on its own merits without requiring a designer’s advocacy? True. Except there never was a client who didn’t want an explanation for every aspect of every piece of creative work they commissioned. If we can’t talk about our work in a clear, rational and objective way — free from all jargon — then we can’t be surprised when we meet with rejection.

06: Ideas usually fail not because they're bad ideas, but because they're badly presented.
The ability to present an idea is as important as the idea itself. The single most important thing we need to remember when presenting work to clients is that they are terrified at the prospect of what we are going to show them. For clients, commissioning design is like going into a furniture showroom to buy a sofa and being told by the salesperson, “Sure, I can sell you a sofa. But I can’t show it to you.” Who ever spent money on something they couldn’t see? Yet this is precisely what we ask our clients to do when they commission us.

07: “I’m a professional: I know best.”
The only designers who use this argument are unprofessional designers. Designers often say, “No one tells a doctor what to do, so why is it OK to tell me what to do?” But the myth of professional omnipotence has been debunked. We no longer accept that doctors, lawyers and plumbers have a monopoly on knowledge. Speak to any doctor and they will tell you that people come into their consulting rooms armed with information downloaded from the internet. We have long since learned to question and challenge expert opinion. Why should designers be exempt? Anyone who uses the “I’m a professional therefore you must accept what I say” argument has lost the argument.

08: “All the good jobs go to other designers.”
Not true: in fact, nearly all jobs start off as neither good nor bad. We are deluded if we think only other people get good jobs and we only get the rubble. Truth is, nearly all jobs start off the same, and our responses as designers determine the success or failure of each job. There are no good or bad projects in design, only good or bad responses. Good projects are made not found. I’ve often interviewed designers who told me they wanted to move jobs because they only got “lousy projects to work on”. Yet when they showed me what they’d been working on, they usually seemed like great jobs.

09: The best way to run a studio is to be domineering and forceful.
In fact, the opposite is true. Designers who run studios or lead teams often think they have to lead from the front. They think they have to dominate. They think they have to take credit for everything. In fact, the opposite is true. Good leaders of design teams lead from behind. They put themselves last and allow others to shine. When designers are allowed to shine, they shine more brightly.

10: If we believe in nothing, we shouldn’t wonder why no one believes in us.
In a world with no principles, people respect those who have principles. Impersonating a doormat is a poor way to be an effective graphic designer. In fact, standing up for what we believe in — ethics, morality, professional standards, even aesthetic preferences — is the only way to produce meaningful work. Of course we won’t win every time, but we will win more often than the designer who doesn't believe in anything. There are countless ways in which we can demonstrate professional integrity — the only mistake we can make is not to demonstrate any.

Footnote: Just like the amp in Spinal Tap that goes up to 11, my list of 10 paradoxes actually contains 11 items. Here is the eleventh paradox of graphic design.

11. When a client says the words — “you have complete creative freedom,”
They never mean complete creative freedom. Whatever you show them, they will find a problem with. Happens every time.

The Navitas Corporate office has responsibility for implementing the Board's strategic plan across the existing Navitas group. Thisincludes the developing of the best practice policies as well as investigating and recommending new business opportunities. It make a fantastic year on 2008 with a new look, and more partnership joining the Navitass group, it is a good path for the company to gain more success in their business. Navitas, formerly IBT Education, was rebranded last year and has since embarked on a campaign to promote the brand to students and agents worldwide. Agents in every country were very familiar with the IBT pathway programmes so we are working to increase their awareness of the Navitas brand. To reflect this, “Honoring Tradition, Exploring New Frontiers”, was taken as our theme in the Annual Report year 2008. Here, the theme “ Honoring Tradition, Exploring New Frontiers” was illustrated through dot and geometrical shape. The dot fully represents a strongest foundation for business and education, and the geometrical shape which links each dot, represent the creativity and any new coming business opportunities. Oppurtunities and Creativity coming from a strong foundation.

Trip On Track for Putra LRT Malaysia

This time, not only the spirit of LRT will be highlighted, with the combination of Identity Malaysia which is the meet point of Multicultural in Asia.This was a very good platform to bring out our national identity through LRT, because the characteristic of LRT Malaysia was so strong, bold, fast forward is just exactly the vision of our country. So here theme was chosen in this project “Trip On Track”, which encourage everyone discover Malaysia from different perspective, such as cultural, people, art, and others.

All these idea and thinking will be transform to a leaflet, brochure to launch the new campaign for LRT Malaysia and it going to bring back the energy that LRT Malaysia lack off now. Beside that, the transformation will make LRt Malaysia with a fresh new look, and something that inspired us, the Malaysian , and the foreigner of the whole new identity and idea of LRT Malaysia.

This idea is choose to combine with the PUTRA LRT Malaysia.

How it works?

-Malaysia was a country which consider a meet point of so many places, we are the multicultured society. To bring out the Malaysia truly identity, is a meet of people, culture, music, art and design, lifestyle and others. I use Colour to represent Malaysia, and I think it is the most suitable word for it. Through the vision that our country have, it is totally just match with the characteristic of PUTRA LRT, that’s why this idea was chose.

Some of the national design in our country is always stick to those old fashion design, which THEY MUST HAVE the national flower, wood decoration, Royal Colour, and curly font.

海龜為世界瀕臨絕種之保育類動物之一。全世界共有七種海龜，棱皮龟、红头龟 (Lodgerhead)、玳瑁、橄榄绿鳞龟 (Oliver)、大海龟 (Leatherback) 、绿海龟(Green Turtle)、黑海龟(太平洋丽龟)和平背海龟。所有的海龟都被列为濒危动物。

海龟多分佈於熱帶或亞熱帶地區，母海龜於每三至七年游回出生地海域交配，並產卵。在過去，台灣，很幸運的有母龜在多處地方上岸產卵，但因環境的破壞及沙灘的開發， 每年3月至８月之间马来西亚海域固定有綠蠵龜， 上岸產卵。

海龟是存在了1亿年的史前爬行动物。海龟有鳞质的外壳，尽管可以在水下待上几个小时，但还是要浮上海面调节体温和呼吸。

海龟最独特的地方就是龟壳。它可以保护海龟不受侵犯，让它们在海底自由游动。除了棱皮龟，所有的海龟都有壳。棱皮龟有一层很厚的油质皮肤在身上，呈现出5条纵棱。



在成熟之前雄性和雌性海龟的体态是一样的。当雄性海龟成熟时，尾巴变长变厚，因为生殖器官就在尾巴底部。不同种类海龟有不同的成熟年龄。玳瑁海龟3岁就成熟了，绿海龟在20-50岁才成熟。海龟一定要在陆地产卵，一次可以产50-200个乒乓球状的卵，但是幼海龟成活的机率只有千分之一。（1/1000）

綠蠵龜生性溫和，在過去曾遭到大量捕殺，及人類採集龜蛋販售。雖然政府公布野生動物保育法，但一直沒有徹底實行，直到國家為綠蠵龜產卵地為棲息地特设保護區，及近年來媒體的報導，綠蠵龜的保育才得以漸漸的施行。
海龟的生存严重威胁

一只小海龟，还未被孵化就注定天敌一箩箩。。其他野兽会把海龟蛋吃个清光， 一出世鸟类， 螃蟹又等它们开餐。。

其实主要威胁都是来自于人类的贪婪和无知

孵化区遭破坏和非法盗猎。

孵化区遭破坏
海滩的发展大大减少了海龟筑巢的场所。母海龟不再上岸孵卵的原因很多：人类的活动和噪音及垃圾挡住海龟的去路，而且如果海龟吃掉这些垃圾它们可能会死亡；海滩的人造灯光让海龟误以为是白天，误导了它们的夜间孵卵，也会使刚刚孵化出来想要回到海里的小海龟失去方向。在印度奥里萨邦孵卵的橄榄绿海龟也面临着严重的威胁。甚至吃错人类们的垃圾。。就这样 ＂、一命呜呼＂。

人们非法盗猎

海龟壳被用来制成梳子、眼镜框、首饰和其他的一些化妆品，而且售价相当昂贵。海龟肥肉则被用来做汤，最严重的使海龟卵被认为是野味， 所以大量被盗窃。。

the people, the scene, the marine life, and all the things here make me having a fun, education, relaxable holiday...

The most important is i saw too many excited, beautiful, and so many marine that i never saw before, even we saw shark and turtle is just infront of my eyes...

haha, also thank to dancoln, the facilator, ah wong, the chef, and other beach workers there who brings us, lead us, even educationed us...haha talked to us about the turtle

and the marine life...even....haunted ghost story..

Jerry_rest in peace

Jerry, the first dog that my father who bring back to home a pair, Tom. This is the two dog which 1 male and 1 female we decided to named them Tom And Jerry, kinda funny right? haha
Unfortunately, Tom been poisoned 2 years ago....those people are really f*cking....how ever, Jerry give born about 4 also 2 years ago.....Last day, my mom told me that our dog died because donnu what kind sick, and i already bring "her" to doctor 1 week before.....wah~!!!!!!!!!!!!!! damn sad on the spot.

Jerry, our whole family bless you can be happy always....and we miss you always, because you are really a good dog there...

some people keep asking me...why you dint updated your blog for such a long time...haha

i know it is hard to be explore ourself, but it is a good to be know ourself, what i am, what i want, who is me?

sometime it is easy to judged other people, but it is not easy to judges ourself by ourself...diffrent people have diferrent view, it such like 100 people at least have 90 different comment about you... if we really need to change for this 90 person, then i will have 90 different angle, perspective view, even mindset...haha i think i will gonna die on that time.

The Short Moments

Suddenly "Boom....Boom...." i knew i have to take my lovely camera to do somethings....haha...i am correct....Fireworks Show again at my area....an area which always have a lots of this short beautiful moments.....

the 1st i get a called to my dear mom....she told me to closed the pipe..ya..but...i have to clean the place...luckily i was not shock by electric, because some of my suis is "bathing".......

this is the packaging design i done for my port folio for the real client which is a rarely famous mooncake or pastry company in Malaysia.

The idea for this mooncake box is from the chinese traditional gift box and mixing with the contemporary art elements with the slogan "The Combined of Traditional Beauty with Contemporary"

The whole set is done by wooden box which cover by a real silk to show the elegant and the beauty of silk too.

30/12/2007 this day i been have a chance to get some of the picture in concert,

but i just get 1 or 2 picture only....because i was very very busy that day...haha

aiks hope next time i have the chance to shoot the whole performance and the children expression ^^.....summore i was very very tired on that day ^^ and all the children are extremely cute ^^

Alien Vs Prediator Vs Me

Wau.. i went for this movie today with some of my friend
even thought i dint wacth the part 1 before, but i think it is easy to understand for all our alien and prediator noob..haha

i like the design of those chatacter like prediator and alien even it is not really can let me observ all the detailing, but some how its came out the effect ^^The most part to make me think a lots is the ending part of this movie, what i can said, our life is really "tiny" enough...haha cause the colonel make all the ppl to the centre of town and bomb all them up...so is it our life is really that "worthless'? and i like the music of the movie....

if one day, we really have the chance to meet "them"(alien, prediator), what will i do? and what will you do?
